KSUN-12 and KIDS-4 Have Moved!

After spending 30 years developing our identity around our specific channel numbers-KIDS-4 and KSUN-12, have now been moved to their new locations.  Please help us spread the word so our programming can continue to be enjoyed for years to come!

You can now find KIDS-4 on channels 95 & 984 and KSUN-12 on channels 98 & 983.  Channels 95 & 98 will fit into Charter's basic analog service and channels 983 & 984 will be on a digital tier called the "Public Affairs Neighborhood".  This location contains federal, state & local programming.  Local programming from surrounding Dane County communities such as Columbus, McFarland, Deerfield, Cambridge, Cottage Grove, Monona and Madison schools and city channels.  With this change, people who live outside of the city limits have access to our channels.  The digital tier is only available to viewers who now subscribe to digital cable from Charter, have a specialized television with a QAM tuner or a cable card adaptor.

This move is a direct result of the passage of Act 42, The Cable Competition bill, which was passed last December.  This recent legislation has eliminated local control therefore making changes like this one possible.

This move will also make Sun Prairie Cable Access stations more difficult to find.  We hope you will follow us to our new locations and continue to enjoy local programming such as government and school meetings, local sports coverage, community events, school programs, and worship services.  Thank you for your support through this difficult transition.
